Are you feeling overloaded?
We’re at the pointy end of the year.
There’s so much going on right now.
We’ve got under a few weeks until Christmas and there’s, for women especially, there’s lots going on.
Yeah, maybe some of you’ll think this is the sweeping generalization and that’s okay, but for the majority this will be.
We’re juggling working full roles.
We’re juggling children and activities closing out the end of the year.
We’re juggling Christmas and Merreyment functions.
We’re juggling present buying.
We’re juggling perhaps too much work to do in too short of a time.
We’re juggling maybe not wanting to spend time with family over Christmas.
Maybe not wanting to take the time out of work because there’s so much to be done
At this time of year.. Overload and feeling overloaded is really apparent for many, many people, women and men.
So I wanna give you a quick hack today to help with that overload. I want you to set your watch or your timer on your phone for every hour and a half (every 90 minutes)
I want you to play your foot tapping song,. Your happy song that no matter where you are.. what you’re doing.. when you hear it.. it makes you move your body and tap your foot. You love it, It’s your happy song. Maybe it’s your most favourite song in the world.
I want you to play that every 90 minutes of the day and then take note of how different your days are and how less overloaded you’ll feel.
Overload happens when we’ve got all our chunks in our brain filled up. All seven chunks. Some people have nine.
The average person has seven chunks in their brain, and those seven chunks are smashed out with all these things that we have to do.
Shopping
Cooking
Business
Kids
Family
All the things that are going on in our minds.
The song will give us distraction and relief.
They say that change is as good as a holiday, a song in your head, every 90 minutes each day will give you that break.
It will give you that holiday from your chunks in your head being full, and you will be able to be 10x more productive.
That’s a quick hack, how to get rid of that overload.
